ALEM DE UMA LENTE FOTOGRÁFICA
Nascido em Barreirinha (AM), nas margens do Amazonas, Eliton Santos chegou ao mundo com um olhar curioso — um olhar que, ao invés de apenas registrar, revela a alma.
Seu caminho na arte começou ainda na adolescência, nas oficinas de desenho, onde teve como mentor o poeta Thiago de Mello, autor do Estatuto do Homem. Foi assim que o amor pelas imagens se acendeu, um amor que atravessaria o tempo, sendo moldado pelas experiências pessoais, pelas paisagens, pelas emoções que atravessam o ser humano.
Com o amadurecimento, a sensibilidade de Eliton passou a se manifestar na fotografia. Ele escolheu focar nas relações, nas ambivalências, nas tensões que habitam cada um de nós — transformando o corpo, o espaço e o momento em uma narrativa cheia de alma. A lente, nas mãos de Eliton, é muito mais do que um mero instrumento; é um espelho que revela o que nem sempre é visível a olho nu.
Seu trabalho é fruto de um permanente diálogo com a arte, sendo influenciado pelas luzes de Ben Dearnley na gastronomia e pelo estilo emblemático de Annie Leibovitz nos retratos — fotógrafa que ficou famosa pelas capas das revistas de maior expressão. Ele se joga nas experiências, nas dúvidas, nas surpresas que o fazer revela, compartilhando com o mundo um pouquinho de suas próprias inquietudes.
Atualmente é proprietário e fotógrafo do Studioefood, fotógrafo na Shutterstock & Adobe Stock e repórter fotográfico na Assessoria de Comunicação da Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SEMED), a terceira maior do Brasil — um lugar onde ele continua a dar forma às historias que merecem ser contadas.

BEYOND A PHOTOGRAPHIC LENS
Born in Barreirinha (AM), on the banks of the Amazon, Eliton Santos came into the world with a curious gaze — a gaze that, instead of simply recording, reveals the soul.
His path in art began when he was still a teenager, in drawing offices, where he was mentored by the poet Thiago de Mello, author of the Estatuto do Homem [Statute of Man]. That was how his love for images was ignited, a love that would transcend time, being shaped by personal experiences, landscapes, and the emotions that run through human beings.
As he matured, Eliton's sensitivity began to manifest itself in photography. He preferred to focus on the relationships, ambivalences, and oppositions that inhabit each of us — transforming the body, space, and moment into a narrative full of soul. The lens, in Eliton's hands, is much more than a mere instrument; it is a mirror that reveals what is not always visible to the naked eye.
His work is the result of a permanent dialogue with art, influenced by Ben Dearnley's light on gastronomy and the emblematic style of Annie Leibovitz in portraits — a photographer who became famous for her work on the covers of the most important magazines. He throws himself into the experiences, doubts, and surprises that his work reveals, sharing a little of his own concerns with the world.
He is currently the owner and photographer of Studioefood, a photographer at Shutterstock & Adobe Stock, and a photojournalist at the Communications Office of the Municipal Department of Education (SEMED), the third largest in Brazil — a place where he continues to shape stories that deserve to be told.
